Fiscal Sponsorship

We provide fiscal sponsorship so visionary initiatives can launch quickly with the operational, financial, and compliance support they need to thrive. Explore several of our new 2025 projects.

Topo Finance brings attention to an often-overlooked driver of sustainability: the financial sector. Their work focuses on sustainable financial management, examining where money is held, assessing the environmental impact of supply chains, and helping clients maximize financial returns while reducing climate impact.

TIFS Initiative, Transformational Investing in Food Systems, is a network of investors, funders, intermediaries, and enterprises—all with the same mission in mind: to support regenerative food systems that are equitable, climate resilient, and meet the health and nutritional needs of our communities.

Frontline Resilience is a mental health resilience project for climate activists and is led by licensed clinical social worker Parker Bowling. It provides free mental healthcare to people on the frontlines of climate change solutions across the globe.

Donor-Advised Funding

A donor-advised fund and giving platform that makes environmental giving simple, strategic, and scalable.

A free DAF built for environmental giving

We made it free to open a donor-advised fund so donors can support climate, nature, and community resilience (and any other causes they love) from one streamlined account.

Built to accelerate grantmaking

  • A clearer, smarter dashboard: Instantly view recent activity, account balance, and total giving in a clean, streamlined interface.
  • Better nonprofit discovery: Improved search lets you discover nonprofits by issue area and, now, location.
  • More ways to move money: Fund your account by credit/debit card, bank transfer, and now DAF-to-DAF transfer making it easier to consolidate giving and deploy capital sooner.

New content and tools to inspire action

  • Issue visibility and nonprofit spotlights: New guides and curated resources elevate key topics and organizations doing the work, helping turn concern into action.
  • Exclusive insights: Browse tips and timely articles to support more informed, strategic giving.
A curated set of resources and nonprofit spotlights designed to help donors understand 30x30 and take meaningful action through giving.

Examining the benefits of natural and accessible open spaces for community building, ecosystem processes, and overall environmental and human wellbeing.

Assessing today’s energy needs and how renewable energy sources play a role in healthier communities, healthier habitats, and a healthier planet.

Analyzing today’s waste management solutions and methods to reduce, mitigate, and prevent waste and protect our global ecosystems.

Letter to Our Supporters

This past year marked a defining moment for EarthShare and for our growing community of people and partners working to make environmental giving more strategic and impactful.

For more than 35 years, EarthShare has built the infrastructure that powers environmental philanthropy. In 2025, that mission came to life in new ways. We strengthened our programs, modernized our systems, and expanded opportunities for donors, funders, and nonprofits to work together with greater speed, transparency, and trust.

What began as a vision to modernize how individuals and companies support the planet has evolved into a dynamic platform that fuels real-world solutions across the environmental movement. Through the EarthShare Donor-Advised Fund and Giving Platform, we helped channel resources to hundreds of vetted environmental organizations—advancing work from regenerative food systems and sustainable finance to climate workforce well-being and community resilience. Every dollar of DAF fees was reinvested into our mission, strengthening the very networks and organizations that safeguard clean air, water, biodiversity, and thriving communities.

The EarthShare Fiscal Sponsorship program also continued to serve as a launchpad for innovative environmental initiatives, providing new and early-stage projects with the legal, financial, and operational backbone to grow and deliver measurable impact. And through workplace giving, we continued to build the systems that connect thousands of employees and employers to the environmental movement—making sustainable action part of everyday life and embedding philanthropy into organizational culture.

It was also a year of profound challenge. The rollback of environmental protections and the ongoing uncertainty facing many nonprofits reminded us why EarthShare’s role as a backbone organization matters more than ever. We are building systems that endure—ensuring that even amid disruption, environmental giving remains strong, informed, and ready to meet the moment.

Our theory of change is simple but powerful: by connecting donors and organizations through resilient financial and operational infrastructure, we can accelerate environmental action and expand the movement for a livable planet. The path forward demands collaboration and courage, and we are grateful to walk it with you.

With hope and gratitude,
Angela Grimes, Board Chair
Brad Leibov, CEO
