Originally from Los Angeles, Chelsea Worrell is a graduate student at the University of Washington’s Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences, where she studies environmental toxicology. Before pursuing a master’s degree, Chelsea received a bachelor’s in premedical studies and psychology with a minor in neuroscience from Miami University of Ohio.

As an EarthShare intern, she employs her interdisciplinary background to communicate the importance of environmental science and sustainability, bridging the gap between scientific research and public understanding. Chelsea enjoys hiking, cooking, writing poetry, playing guitar, and cuddling with her tortoiseshell cat, Pumpkin.
