My name is Audrey Quinn, and I am a rising junior at the University of New Hampshire, majoring in Political Science and Sustainability. I am passionate about environmental policy, education, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of others. This year, I had the incredible opportunity to intern with EarthShare as a Campaign Research and Outreach Intern. This experience has been instrumental in advancing my career goals and has deepened my commitment to driving positive environmental change.

Over the summer, I worked on engaging, meaningful projects and gained valuable skills and hands-on experience supporting EarthShare’s mission—helping everyone take action for a healthy planet—one that closely mirrors my own values and aspirations. Working closely with the Campaigns department, I developed marketing materials for many of EarthShare’s partners to support and educate others on the work they do. I also had the opportunity to provide support updating and organizing partner data within EarthShare’s internal administrative platforms. These opportunities gave me the ability to learn and develop skills in disciplines I have never worked in.

As it was my first internship in college, I was nervous and did not know what to expect. However, everyone at EarthShare welcomed me with open arms and immediately made me feel valuable to their team and a part of the EarthShare family. Every single one of the individuals who work hard to support EarthShare is an amazing, kind person who wants nothing but to support one another, the initiatives of others, and our Earth.

As I approach the end of my internship, I look back fondly on this summer. I am proud of myself and all I have accomplished. Moving forward, I want to take what I have learned and my experiences from EarthShare and use them to continue to educate others on the importance of our environment; to advocate for environmental protection and equality. Most importantly, I am thankful to everyone at EarthShare for welcoming me and providing me with fantastic learning opportunities and experiences I will never forget.
