Kalman Stein

Kalman Stein has been President of Earth Share since its inception in 1989. During that time, Mr. Stein increased the number of national member charities that Earth Share represents from 18 to 61, and helped raise more than $100 million on their behalf. In addition, Earth Share now has 14 state affiliates operating in 19 states, representing more than 400 local and national member organizations.

Mr. Stein has persuaded dozens of major corporations and government employers to open their payroll deduction campaigns to Earth Share, enabling more than 7 million employees nationwide to easily contribute to environmental and conservation causes. He has also obtained more than $450 million in donated media support for Earth Share's public service advertising campaign through Earth Share's partnership with the Advertising Council.

Mr. Stein holds a B.A. and M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, has taught business courses at St. Mary's College in Moraga, CA and the University of California at Berkeley, and worked as a management consultant with more than 200 hundred businesses and non-profit organizations.
