EcoTools Gives Back: Congratulations to the Jane Goodall Institute!
Even though all three charities are winners, your votes earned the Jane Goodall Institute the largest share of a generous donation from EarthShare partner, EcoTools!
Our thanks to you and everyone who voted in the EcoTools Gives Back campaign. Giving back is beautiful and your votes made a difference. Because of your support the Jane Goodall Institute will receive 67%, Ocean Conservancy 19%, and the Conservation Fund 14% of the EcoTools’ gift.
Here’s more about how each group will use their gift to support the great work they do for our environment:
Beautiful Wildlife / The Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) will apply EcoTools’ support to developing community-centered conservation partnerships with the goal of establishing sustainable practices, managing protected areas, and creating environmental land-use plans. JGI will also continue their commitment to conserving chimpanzee habitat, rescuing chimp orphans, and raising awareness to protect wildlife through targeted education outreach.
Beautiful Water / Ocean Conservancy will use their share of the EcoTools grant to help support cleanup programs like their annual International Coastal Cleanup and their Keep the Coast Clear campaign. Through their cleanup event and outreach efforts, Ocean Conservancy is working to stop trash at its source, before it reaches the coastline.
Beautiful Places / The Conservation Fund will apply their generous donation toward restoring damaged and degraded lands. Restoration work includes planting trees, green infrastructure planning and cleaning up watersheds. By renewing these natural resources, ecosystems will begin to flourish, people will have recreation spaces and wildlife will have room to roam.
Getting gorgeous, going green and giving back is what EcoTools is all about! EcoTools is a brand from Paris Presents Incorporated and a leader in eco-conscious beauty products, most notably known for its incredibly soft cosmetic brushes. They offer a collection of cosmetic accessories and bath products that feature innovative, earth-friendly materials. EarthShare thanks to EcoTools for their ongoing and generous support.
