Double Duty Shipping Boxes

Here’s a green tip we’d like to share from one of our supporters, Lee Fahey of Charlotte, North Carolina. Lee supplied these step-by-step instructions showing how she cleverly re -uses shipping boxes to save resources and money!

1) First, you have to have a box (ideally the inside is white) ;
2) Unhook the tabs that snap the box together, or remove the tape holding the box together ;
3) Flip the packaging around ;
4) Rebuild the box the opposite way around, and you’ve got a brand new box!
