Created and produced by EarthShare's pro bono ad agency, DraftFCB-Chicago, our environmental public service advertising (PSA) campaign was been distributed through the Ad Council to thousands of media outlets every year from 1992 to 2008. EarthShare's PSA campaign is one of the largest environmental public service media campaigns in history.
EarthShare ads appeared on CNN, NBC and CBS; in Sports Illustrated, U.S. News & World Report, Oprah, People, InStyle, The New Yorker, Entertainment Weekly, Time, The New York Times; and via many other publications and broadcast stations.

We appreciate your feedback, and we understand our PSA's evoke different responses from different people. We hope you’ll check out some of our other archived PSA's as each one is different: www.earthshare.org/public-service-advertising.html
In the meantime, we can tell you that we’re moving away from the PSA – stay tuned & keep the feedback coming!

I would love to support Earthshare if I had some extra money, because I believe in the goals, but I hate the PSA's and I'll tell you why: Many of the statements, such as "There is only one boy," etc. "What if you had to choose..." are meaningless and based solely on emotional "grab-factor." I would love to see PSA's out there for you that are simply filled with facts and information, not so obviously trying to play on emotion.
Thank you.
Phil
